I think the problem with this post is the fact that there really is no answer to your question. Leather just has a bad connotation. I've never worn leather to bed, although now that Ive read this post I've started to wonder why. I wear normal leather (jacket, shorts, shoes, etc) but that's it. I think that most men tend to expect sm/bondage from a woman who's into wearing leather, or else are intimidated by her. I know that if I went over to my guy's place and stripped down to show off a new leather outfit, he'd flip. Im just "too nice a girl" to be in to that. Although the thought of a man caressing my leather-clad tits is really turning me on....
So, I guess maybe my next post will be about The Night I Tried Leather-- or something like that. But I do think that this is an interesting question, and I too wish that more people would respond. Why cant a nice girl like me just relax and enjoy a night of leather pleasure?

Thank you Nicki19 for your honest reply! I myself am a "nice guy" and I do find it a real shame that the topic of leather has to be "labelled" and/or catered to a certain crowd. Thats ok, "to each his own", but it leaves the "straight" man or woman who loves leather in a "no-man's land situation". I understand your point about the connotation of leather, as it leaves the self-respecting female or man facing the ultimate possible fear of being "labelled" in a BDSM kind of mould. This is why I'm sure this topic and question has gone unanswered, in this light being understandable.
Without going into too much personal detail, I will say this. I love leather in the context of "normal" everyday ladies leatherwear, skirts etc. I have mutually shared this with other ladies who have been in my life (who by the way are straight and not into BDSM). My interest in leather happened innocently and accidentally years ago ( a story in itself), and it has thoroughly been a pleasure since,sharing it with a mutual female partner or just simply pleasuring myself. My advice to a respectable girl like you is to simply enjoy or experiment with it if you choose, and take it from there. Don't fear stereotypes. Thanks for your post!!!!
