Am curious how many Christians enjoy reading this site?
I do and am sure I'm not the only one.

Please respond and post your stories, likes, etc.

Christians or not, I do believe some or most of Litsters represent any religion or faith they are in to.

Where in the Bible does it say thou shall not read erotic stories? Are Christians forbidden from expressing sexuality? Please quote the specific scripture, tia.

As long as the stories don't contain coveting of the neighbor's wife. Or coveting in general.

Corinthians 13:8

Thou shalt not read erotica literature; once the Internet is created by God.

They can read 'em, they just can't masturbate. Because God cares very much that no one should orgasm without his approval or outside of marriage.

I say this wryly, as a long-recovered guilty masturbator.

Every sperm is sacred, after all.

Matthew 5:27"You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY'; 28but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29"If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.…

I think it takes a certain amount of mental flexibility to claim that if Jesus thinks you looking at another woman counts as adultry that he wouldn't think the same of pornography or the written word. Because very clearly the point is that adultery is like a gift. It's the thought that counts.

Why do you think that incest is one of the most popular categories. According to the bible the whole of mankind was built from one man and one woman, so to get to the current population there has to have been rampant incest between a whole range of close family members right from the word go.
No wonder half the world is barking mad

There was A TON of drunkenness, adultery, orgies, incest, beastiality, and more that happened during the Old Testament times. It was probably worse then than it is now!

I'm a Christian also.

I read here. I'm an author here. I even occasionally include spirituality in my storylines.

Pat Robertson most likely doesn't like the idea, but then I don't answer to him. ;)

I am a religious person, enjoy passion and all, and even written my own poems and stories, if God created our bodies why not share???

a few thoughts

If you believe in Christ you are by definition a Christian. I am not a Christian.

The Song of Solomon is all about sex.

Xenophobia, ie having forced sex with male angels who are strangers is not okay but to offer your virgin daughters to the rabid crowd is fine.

It's okay to trick your father into have sex with you so he can have a child.

David-Bathsheba, seriously... sexual coercion, adultery, setting her husband up to be killed, abuse of power, all so he could have her.

English Lady is a "Christian" writer who started writing on Lit and is now publishing in the real world.
