I really do appreciate the offer and am quite impressed that you've learned some french (feel free to practice with me...). You'd also be into free medicare, liberal laws and good beer (there's 3 microbreweries within 300km of here).

PS. I love driving manual, but a car matters little to me, only the one behind the wheel...

i'm not simply looking to get away from bush. canada seems like paradise to americans like me. i think it might be time for me to finally go there. i've never felt like an american. not a good american anyway

There are plenty of people and places in Canada that are anti bush even though he is making our country economically better by screwing up everything down there. You should come to Nova Scotia for a visit . In case you are wondering I am 20.

I've lived in all eastern provinces I'd have to say that my most enjoyable time I had was in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Zraii is right, also you'd probably prefer it there since the weather is more mild especially during winter (usually). Unless you don't mind cold weather and dangerous highway conditions. Seeing the tall ships in the summer time is also way cool. And most, if not all of the people were nice and courteous.

Also British Colombia is a very beautiful place to visit/live. I've never been there myself but from friends it sounds like an awsome place.

Just to give you a nice idea, where I currently live now the weather usually varies from -20 to -40 Fahrenheit during the middle of winter. And we got our lovely first foot of white golden snowfall 3 weeks ago. This varies though from province to province.

It's really not so bad as I'm maybe making it sound, but I know as a fact when I came down to Florida I was overwhelmed by the heat. Different climates take some getting used to for sure.
