Hmm....anyone here like the music you listen to by its BPM rate?
Personally, anything with a 160-180 bpm rate is cool with me to chill with. ATB, Taucher,Schiller, and Paul Van Dyk, to name a few.

And for the city cruisin' or girllie cruisin'(hehe!) anything with like...a 120-145 bpm. Mostly "no name" artists right now, like NattyDread and the local hip-hop DJs. But Mystikal, Mob Deep, 112, and the likes also fit in sometimes.

And lastly, for either(not ethyer, ya bum rushin' hip-hop brothas and sista's who know what i mean!haha!) a nice slow drink...or a few(personally, an EXTRA DRY sapphire Martini, stired & Kammikazee shots are my fav!)...or just intense studying...lets say, finals week!!...anything with a 0 bpm(haha!) is cool too! Mostly Mozart, Beethoven, and Vivaldi with some Chopin thrown in at times.

Oh my God I am fucking old! I can't even understand English anymore.

I'm ready, call the home, get me a room.

I have made my own music a few times
using keyboards and drum machines.
I discovered dance music a few years ago and it's almost all I listen to now.
I like the popular DJ's like digweed and sascha, oakenfold.
I really get into the gabber and harcore techno..that's the shit right there, I'm talking about 300 BPM shit.
Acid house is something I like especially, and this newer progressive house.
I really like trance as well...the deeper, darker really twisted stuff.

one thing I HATE with a passion is hip-hop, rap whatever the fuck you want to call it.
Fucking sucks ass if you ask me.

Yeah, I like that tna cd it does kick...that's some of my favorite smoking music you dig?
Some people look down on it because it's sorta poppy, fuck 'em I like it
and so do a lot of other people.

Another series of cd's that you might want to check out if you can find them is Ministry of Sound, which is a club in London and they have a number of mix cd's that are good, rather like the tna cd, there are a few that atb have mixed.
These are import cd's so they tend to be rather expensive, 25 to 30$ when I buy them, I've got them at Borders if there is one of those near you, Best Buy is expanding their dance range as well.

The Global Underground series is excellent as well, some of the first releases tend to be rare but you can get most of them from their website.
These are imports as well from Britain, but it's one of the best if not the best series of DJ mix cd's out there.

I was never a DJ so I could not tell you to much about turntables and all that. What I did was take a four-track and a couple of keyboards and a drum machine, an effect or two and went from there.
It was not anything fancy, but it sounded good though.
