Does anyone have any advice on how to find someone to correspond with?

I am a DWM, recently out of a very abusive relationship, and I’d like to find people on Lit with whom I can talk.

Interact with people on threads. Jump in and start flirting or joking or otherwise chatting. Or if you run across someone you feel a connection with, PM them... but make it specific. I've had a lot of PM's and the ones I tend to answer aren't just random, "Hi, how are you?" style PM's, they're ones that are either a reaction to my story or to one of my posts on the board. The more you interact with people the higher your chances of meeting posters you connect with, so just put yourself out there as much as you can.
