Anti-Story Idea: What subject has been beaten to death ?

Many people complained, that the celebrity section is totally overrun by Buffy Stories.

So, I guess if you want to do a celebrity story, best would be, if it would NOT be about Buffy.

But what about other subjects ? Is there a subject that has been beaten to death ? Maybe things like "Son ties up his mother and fucks her" (that was just an example)

So, what do you think, what subject has been beaten to death - and please don't say just "incest" or something like this. I know, some people are fed up with incest stories, because they are all the same, but I think there is room for new ideas ... as soon as we know the "old ideas"

You know: I noticed this quiet a few times: Someone posts a story idea, like: "I would like to see a story where "XXX" has sex with "YYY" and then .... " - and then someone replies: There are so many stories, about "XXX" having sex with "YYY" ...

So, which subject are you fed up with ?

I don't think incest stories are all the same, any more than " buffy" stories are all the same. although both are overdone, the best writers find fresh twists, or interesting ways to use language, breathing new life into them. There are some really sexy Buffy stories, and a few funny ones. Its just that finding them among the crap is hard. Same with incest. Wyden Long and a few others have a real talent which they choose to use to write about incest. The rest of us ought not to try.

That's sort of a good point. In my opinion the sex is the least exciting part of an erotic story. I know I write the sex, but I don't like to read it...maybe we need more erotica without sex, more with just erotica. There have been many requests for seduction stories, or stories about women smelling panties or people smelling panties of celebrities (okay just one of each of those that I saw) or what about the "frottage" story that i never got around to finishing ? that wasn't about sex...

Maybe Mr Smith just meant that there are lots of stories JUST about SEX.

i think i would have to agree...
stories with more heaving bosoms and pulsating throbbings, in stead of hard cocks and tits..
i love erotica, and thats what i look for when i write , and when i read, a good blend of raunch and erotic...

personally, animal and incest stories are way over done, but thats because i have a strong personal distaste for them ..
