The resolution calls on elected officials, faith leaders and leaders in civil society to use their positions of authority “to condemn and combat any and all manifestations of antisemitism.”

The measure also urges individuals to denounce denials or distortions of the Holocaust, and encourages them to promote education focused on the Holocaust and antisemitism.

the point being made by the House is that too many people are hearing antisemitic words from people they trust and even admire. it's damaging on a broad level.

With an average IQ of 115 Ashkenazi Jews are the most superior race in existence. They deserve the best we have to offer. We need more Jews in the United States to take well paying jobs that require superior intelligence. Civilizations need brilliant people in charge.

The Chosen People: A study of Jewish Intelligence and Achievement is the most recent work of Richard Lynn dealing with group differences in IQ and their ramifications. As in all of his previous work over the past decade, he substantiates his arguments with huge quantities of empirical data. He advances his positions dispassionately and lets the facts speak for themselves, which they do in impressive, nearly irrefutable fashion. In his previous books he examined racial and ethnic differences in IQ for many groups. The Chosen People is a case study of one distinct group that has shown remarkably similar patterns of achievement in a wide variety of settings.

Professor Lynn begins by pointing out the extraordinary success of Jews in almost every field. In the 19th century the restrictions that had prevented most Jews from advanced nonreligious study began to be lifted in most of Western Europe, and by mid-century, “people began to observe that Jews were outstandingly successful, and began to speculate that this was attributable to their intellect.” (Unless otherwise noted, all quotations are from Professor Lynn.)

Prof. Lynn writes:
They arrived as penniless refugees unable to speak the languages of their new countries; they were the “huddled masses” from the most backward region of Europe. Yet by the middle decades of the 20th century, the children and grandchildren of these immigrants were doing far better than their Gentile hosts on all indices of socioeconomic status and earnings and outperforming them by several orders of magnitude in obtaining elite academic distinction . . . .

“Israeli PAC” does not exist. Jewish control of politicians is an anti-Semitic trope. Control of politicians by the pro-Israel lobby is also an anti-Semitic trope as it is about those advocating or lobbying on behalf of the Jewish state.

This is what the Koran says about the right of the Jews to Israel:

Surah V:20 And (remember) when Moses said unto his people: O my people! Surah XVII:104 And we said unto the Children of Israel after him: Dwell in the land, but when the promise of the Hereafter cometh to pass, we shall bring you as a crowd gathered out of various nations.

This is what the Bible has to say about the right of the Jews to the land of Israel:

JohnEngelman: I have read the Old Testament in eight English translations. For Jews possession of the land of Israel is as important as personal salvation is for Christians.

The Land of Israel was given to the Children of Israel by God. The Occupied Territories were conquered by the Israeli Defense Force in a war started by the Arabs with the intention of destroying Israel. Israel has defeated the Arabs again and again because God is on their side.

As usual, the article didn't contain his reasons for voting no and shame on you for not referring to the why of it all:

Wow, someone never misses a chance to worship the Jewish people. Even if they were the smartest race on Earth, which is bullshit. Intelligence isn't the only thing of value in the world anyway. Its actually becoming increasingly unimportant for the average person.

There is no God, he cannot give you anything. The land was given to them by the allies because they felt guilty. And if God did give the land, then didn't he also take it away? Or is that not how it works? What's the problem with Iran having nukes. Doesn't God have the power to cause them to missfire or Israel to shoot them down?

This law should have passed with near 100% support and some dude who was sitting on the toilet and it didn't matter by the time he got back.

Gould withholds from his readers that The Bell Curve is mainly an empirical work about the causes of social stratification and that it reached its conclusions only after fully analyzing a 12-year longitudinal study of 12,486 youths (3022 of whom were African-American), which showed that most 17-year-olds with high IQs (Blacks as well as Whites) went on to occupational success by their late 20s and early 30s whereas many of those with low IQs (both Black and White) went on to welfare dependency. The average IQ for African-Americans was found to be lower than those for Latino-, White-, Asian-, and Jewish-Americans (85, 89, 103, 106, and 115, respectively, pp. 273-278). Failure to mention these data fosters the false belief that IQ tests are not predictive and are biased in favor of North Europeans.

In an afterword to the softcover edition of The Bell Curve, Charles Murray (1996) chides Gould and his reviews for being hopelessly out of date regarding the evidence for the biological basis of g and for dismissing as ‘trivial’ the predictive power of IQ in The Bell Curve sample. Murray invites Gould to “count the ways” in which g does in fact capture “a real property in the head”. The higher the g loading of a subtest, the higher is its heritability, the higher the degree of inbreeding depression.

Computer technology increases the relationship between intelligence and income. As time goes on there will be more economic demand, and higher salaries, for those in the ninety ninth percentile, and less use for those to the left of the IQ ball curve.

Factors like what? Affirmative action can get a low IQ black person into an intellectually demanding job. It can't enable him to perform adequately. His white and Oriental colleagues will notice his inferiority and resent his presence.

Ladino speaking Sephardic Jews were the first Jews to inhabit what became the USA. Why do you think that they are racially inferior to the Ashkenazi's?

This sort of resolution does nothing except make politicians feel good.

For example, when I was working in London, the local council passed a resolution declaring itself a nuclear-free zone.

I had already written to the council pointing out that we had been using radioactive isotopes since the 1940s and we were flushing very low-level nuclear waste down the local sewers since then, with the permission of the sewage providers.

They also had two major hospitals within their borough, using radioactive treatments, and worst of all, twice a week trainloads of nuclear waste passed through.

But they wanted to make a statement, ignoring reality. It passed.
