anti gay camp gone wrong

I'm a heterosexual writer who takes a lot of pleasure in pissing of christians.
And I have a story idea for an anti gay camp where things go wrong for the camp staff. They just can't stop these young horny guys having sex with eachother.

I was wondering if anyone had a problem with that, besides the obvious ones and if anybody had some tips regarding who to write gay love scenes. I've never done it before and am actually quite excited at what I'll make of a sex act I'm not particulary interested in. Would it destroy my writing, because I can't get excited or will the added distance make me more precise and help me pace the story better and things like that.

And ofcourse, the thought occurs that I may not be the first to think of this.

Pissing off Christians as erotica

Hmmm... I see some problems here. One, you don't like the act. Two, a good majority of todays Christians tacitly accept homosexuality as a part of life. Only a few really far out there character's like *cue the music* our Commander in Chief and Pat Robertson make it a job.

It might be more interesting having someone who is closely related to them go to one of these behavior modification camps and instead get to revel in an uncontrolled orgy. How about the Camp Director is a queer and basically provides an atmosphere for gays/lesbians/transgenders/bisexual young adults who are dealing with societal and familial pressures. I could see this being an interesting twist on the topic. Pat Robertson's daughter for instance (I have a particular taste in these things) or even a son. Maybe Pat gets suspicious and picks up a few surveillance tapes and finds the content arousing and addictive. Take that Thumpers!

It can be fun and rewarding to push and test yourself as an author, but I think it can sometimes show in your work if you're writing about a sexual topic you do not personally enjoy.

As Athena said, there are many branches of Christianaty that are not very strict in who they accept as members of their congregation. (Check out the Sex in Church thread for opinions/ideas. I mentioned in one of my posts how the church I grew up in (and revisited somewhat recently when visiting home) had interracial couples, single mothers with biracial children, single teen/young adult mothers, teen girls with visible birth control patches showing on their back hip because her shirt rode up... and a trusted church treasurer, family man, etc., commit suicide because he was stealing money from the church and the giult got to him. His family was not "shunned" or anything, and they held his funeral in the church. If that's not a "forgiving" or open minded chuch, I don't know what is! lol Oh, by the way, the Minister there is half Hawaiian/half Asian and he is married to a white woman. They have children.)

Still, your idea could work if you're talking about a strict branch of Christianity and/or specific small community. Maybe the strict Minister's son is a closet gay? Etc.
