The Supreme Court on Wednesday cleared the way for the Trump administration to remove three of the five members of the Consumer Product Safety Commission from office while their challenges to their firings continue.

In a brief unsigned order, the justices blocked, at least for now, a ruling by a federal judge in Maryland that had directed the Trump administration to reinstate the three commissioners, who were appointed by then-President Joe Biden. The majority explained that the case was “squarely controlled” by its May 22 ruling that allowed Trump to remove board members of the National Labor Relations Board and the Merits Systems Protection Board.

More contaminates in our food and air and products we buy.

Reichguide calls it winning.

This is the second similar case. In fact the Justices referred to the previous ruling in this case as well.

And just for those former commissioners----------------

It's called accountability.
So for example .....if we roll back regulations that keep air, water, land clean of pollutants (as we are currently doing), and at the same time fire anyone whose job it was to enforce those once regulated items, then who will be accountable for regulating pollutants, if at all? Corporations and industry? Market forces? Please.

Do you have enough cash and power to sue a multi billion dollar industry that gets to do whatever it wants? Where is the accountability in that?

The EPA isn't an "independent" agency. But please do carry on with your ramblings.

Trump appointed acolytes as judges and Harlan Crow has bought them gifts. This is not a justice system that will be regarded with respect in years to come.

Poor RightGuide. He’s deteriorated to the point of creating multiple new gibberish threads a day, just like 86TintaNoitx2024 (a mentally disabled person). 😆

No. it means less Marxist control in government.

Which means we're less safe. Lets stop with the games we like to be safe and if you want to call that Marxist so be it. I think you're playing a very dangerous game though. There is a video floating around about why Texas and Kern County didn't take the Biden money because it would put them under the heel of a Marxist Biden led government. Exactly how many parents burying their children do you think it will take for them to vote for a Marxist? Not the word you throw around as a slur about anything that will make your life better. I mean a genuine government take over that nobody in America wants.

Really! That's you're rebuttal? Like democrats can plan. How about the Palisades, Hurst. Eaton, Bert counties, all the CA forest fires. It's not like they weren't warned year after year to do something about it. How about the Hawaii fires. Rebuilding is always snagged by permitting requirements. Democrats love regulations.

Which County is Palisades in?

Yes Democrats can plan but that wasn't what I said anyway. Do all Conservatives take a class in not actually addressing the point? The CA fires are a combination primarily of shit happens, Feds not doing their job and private industry not being regulated. Nobody is claiming shit doesn't happen. Texas fires happen, Colorado fires happen. That's just the world but its only in Republican areas where you can clearly see that they had an easy out. All the resources needed and just didn't because you'd rather die than be prepared.

However let me repeat my point. How many parents are going to bury their children before a REAL Marxist shows up promising solutions and they are willing to listen. You can say whatever the fuck you want on here but you know Obama and Biden are no more Marxist than the Bushes were. Probably LESS than Reagan who wasn't too interested in tearing down what was already in place aside from a push for Green. Fucker.

Oh, so what you're saying is that when crisis happens in democrat managed counties it's "shit happens" but in republican managed areas it's foolhardy.

I took exception with your crass comment on how many parents are going to bury their children before a real Marxist promises a real solution.

I can assure you and will even bet with you that the Texas hill country will recover, rebuild with the addition of flood warning devices well before LA county recovers. Why? because LA county is run by left wing Marxist more interested in DEI then sound management. Thousands of permit applications have been submitted but only a few have approved.

What we seem to be witnessing is that when Trump removes someone the job just goes undone. This of course isn't by accident. Republicans have a beautful plan. You fuck up government then later when something doesn't work you can blame it on the government. We'll whenever the next batch of elections hit in Texas if the conditioning worked. Kern will either look up and say "Well of course FEMA failed. LETS GO BIDEN!" or they'll have learned the lesson and vote in their best interests. I am not hopeful.

Absolutely.

No. I listed Colorado which is not Democrat led last I checked. Kern County was avoidable. We know exactly what steps lead us to this place. Texas (except Houston) are on an independent electric grid so when shit happens like the cold snap a few years back and one a bit before that it could have been avoided easily by tying into the national grid like every single other part of the US.

You bet a relatively small county will recover fully before a larger one.

However you are intentionally missing the point. Nothing about California is Marxist. You use it as a slur. It works fine when things are good. What do you think is going to happen when things aren't so good and the next batch of mothers have to be reminded that this was their own fault? History has shown exactly what happens in those situations. So I highly recommend you get with the program before you fuck it up for all of us because lets face it. The evidence shows what you're doing is not working at all.
