Ever wonder what place and time you would like to go back to? I'm thinking of mid-evil times, around the 1400's where the women wore, well, interesting attire and men were men. You must admit, Xena looks pretty hot! The bustles worn by the King's wives were pretty hot too, although it must take hours to get out of them for sex!

But then again, looking at the pics above, it's good to know they knew how to do it in the 1800's as well!!!

Thought it may be interesting to see where others would want to be...

yeah, because they put so much research into Xena to make sure it accurately reflects the dress and behavior of people of that time.

and i bet anything that those photos are digitally aged.

Pre-historic for me...

I always thought those cave men looked like real cool guys...

Dunno why those wuses the cro-magnons got the better of them.

:D

There's a series starting on PBS within the next few weeks that puts three families in Montana in conditions like the pioneers faced in the 1800's. I don't remember the name of it (something along the lines of Frontier Life i think), but it looked very interesting.

ah yes. back in the days of open sores all over one's body. of sickening and gross diseases. slow, rotting deaths and a life expectancy of about 40 years (if you're lucky).

Yeah, and it cracked me up! The poor "volunteers" jusyt couldn't hang! Don't get me wrong, I couldn't either living the way I do today, but hell, being publically humiliated like that, aka wusses, is just plain comical! Exhibitionism to the extreme!

Can I ease your fears? Travel is one of life's complicated pleasures. Beit time, space, or distance. It's what makes the world your portal to your destination. It's what makes you learned. It makes you feel as if you are alive! I can ease your fears of travel. Just tell us where you want to go and let us be your guide.

yep, it's time to go to sleep now... sorry Angel

It makes me happy to know that, no matter what old people say, the same type of debauchery was going on back then.
