Hello all-

I have a questions about a woman shving her pussy. My girlfriend used to shave most of herself, leaving only a triangle above. She was my first.

I loved going down on her, hearing her little moans and sighs is such a turn on for me! But when she came back she had let it grow out and I find it... well, I liked it better when she had it shaved. I still like it, but it was better before.

I asked her about it and she said that she has got a yeast infection once from shaving. I've never heard of that happening. I thought it might just be that she got a yeast infection that had nothing to do with her shaving. I guess I could be wrong.

Any suggestions on how to prevent this or some advice on how to approach this subject again? Thanks.

First of all, I have never heard of getting a yeast infection just from shaving down there, but hey, you never know. It could have been from antibiotics, or from her hormonal levels changing also. Second of all, taking acidophalus can really help to prevent yeast infections. You can find it in any drigstore in the vitamins aisle or at the pharmacy- just ask for it. It's used to help the digestive tract, but it also helps keep yeast levels down. Acidophalus can also be found in yogurt- just make sure she buys yogurt that contains it.

Shaving irritates the skin and it is possible she got a superficial or external yeast infection. Much the same as "jock itch". She might try using an antifungal cream after shaving to prevent infection.

I am pretty prone to yeast infections and as lilminx said acidophilous really helps. There are sonme other natural products out there too. Visit your local health food store and ask. I find that keeping it shaved actually helps prevent them. Moisture tends to promote yeast growth and hair collects moisture so if anything shaving should help prevent yeast infections.
