Another Racially inappropriate joke

Not trying to start anything again, but this was to funny and I wanted to warn anyone ahead of time, so you have been warned.

A guy is walking along a beach when he comes across a lamp partially buried in the sand. He picks up the lamp and gives it a rub. Two BLONDE genies appear and they tell him he has been granted three wishes. The guy makes his three wishes and the BLONDE genies disappear. The next thing the guy knows, he's in a bedroom, in a mansion surrounded by 50 beautiful women. He makes love to all of them and begins to explore the house.

Suddenly he feels something soft under his feet. He looks down and the floor is covered in $100 bills. Then, there is a knock at the door. He answers the door and standing there are two persons dressed in Ku Klux Klan outfits. They drag him outside to the nearest tree, throw a rope over a limb and hang him by the neck until he is dead.

As the Klansmen are walking away, they remove their hoods, and it's the two BLONDE genies. One BLONDE genie says to the other one, "Hey, I can understand the first wish having all these beautiful women in a big mansion to make love to. I can also understand him wanting to be a millionaire. But to be hung like a black man is beyond me!"

well for one thing I dont see any N word in this joke. another thing had you read the subject of the thread it said what it was so why did you read the joke if you knew you were going to be offended. hell if I see somthing that says you might not like this I stay the hell away from it. I could understand if it had started with all blacks should read this then you have a reason to be offended but under the circumstances I say quit crying and dont read things that say" I wanted to warn anyone ahead of time, so you have been warned."

GuyJD I have never had a problem with you, neither have I used the N word in my entire life! So why are you quoting me to prove some point.

I think the joke was funny, Willy is a friend of mine and I always read his jokes. You were warned, and I know Willy doesn't feel like this in reality, so if you have a problem with me either take it private to me or drop it.

I apologize for the confusion. You are so right. Why on earth should I have been upset by "hung like a black man" punchline?
Just a thought, I wonder if they'll ever be a politically incorrect joke with the punchline, "Gassed like Jewish people" or "Shot down like a Korean prisoner"?
(Incidently fellow members, to set the record straight, I find no humor in my examples either.)

I live in a part of The South, and every time I've heard a joke like that one, it was told to me by some bigot that thought I would enjoy it because I was "white". You can connect the dots yourself.

This bulletin board is a little different from other bulletin boards for the reason that not only do you get to discuss politics, current affairs, music, or any other thing that turns your crank, but you are also free (and encouraged) to openly discuss sexuality. In other words, if you hang around long enough, you'll find out things about other members that they're own spouses, friends or families don't even know. The blessed freedom of it all.

You don't know whether I'm black, brown, yellow, red, white or purple. You didn't even know I was a guy until now. I didn't know you were black until this thread came up, or I'm assuming. I don't care.

You wanted to know why your thread brought up so many flames and this one didn't. This thread received a flame and dropped out of site. YOU brought it back to page one after three and a half months, not me. I don't think the joke here was particularily funny, appropriate or offensive. You're bothered that others did find it funny, but Guy, some people laugh at anything here. This thread even had a warning.

Consider this. I start a thread, and the title of it is:

Why Do Black People Think That They Can Sing Opera?

I'd be charcoaled toast, instantly. There'd be flames coming from everywhere, and I didn't even use a derogatory term. Replace 'Black People' with n**ger, and you have the equivalent of your thread.

I just peeked at PH's last comment on this thread. I've been avoiding this thread and have yet to actually read the joke. I'm thankful of the warning that willy gave because now I can choose whether I want to be subjected to material I will consider offensive.

GuyJD, had willy not given the warning and I read the joke, I would've most likely jumped on him like I did you for using inappropriate derogatory terms to identify a person.

Frankly, I dropped this matter a couple of days ago because it was going nowhere. I was constantly told, basically, that telling such a joke is NOT as bad as using the "F" word. Actually, I feel that both are just as bad.

Just a thought though, let's say that I'll agree with that statement. But imagine this for a minute...........
You are among friends at a nightclub. And you forewarn them and tell that joke. It brings many laughter, as it did in this forum. But there's one problem, you failed to realize that there's a group of African-American guys behind you who also heard the joke. Much worst, the club is predominately African-American.

QUESTION: How comfortable would you be in that situation? How fast will you be able to run to your car?

But please remember, THIS ISN'T THAT BAD OF A JOKE.
