I probably hear that term more often from a woman referring to another woman, and then it's usually because they don't like the way they dress.

I have to agree with Worm on this one... I hear the word slut used more from women toward another woman than from men... I've found that most men prefer women who are sexually confident and know what they want... And mature men realize that those of us who are experienced had to gain that experience someplace

If there is still anyone out there who thinks that it is ok for men to have a long list of sexual encounters and not women, they are very lonely and bitter in life...

This double-standard

...is changing quite a bit. I know quite a few ladies who have a lot of notches on their belts, to use a cliche.

We only refer to them as "active". I call them studettes! Either way it's their business!

...women who call women "sluts". I personally don't know any guys who would call a woman a slut.

Why do women just rip each other? I dunno.
