Another question for the ladies: May-December trysts.

I am desperately trying to get back into the swing of writting a story that has been languishing in limbo for what is beginning to seem like eternity. I have been posting inane comments on the Author's Hangout for weeks, and I apologize for that. I have mainly been distracting myself at the expense of other people's threads. Hey baby, nice threads. See, thee I go again.

In the past I have received valuable answers from the women here, and so I go forth once again in my unending quest to find out just what women are thinking.

The story I am trying to complete involves every man's fantasy - seduction at the hands of an older woman. Woo-hoo! I am writing it from a first-person POV (20ish), so I don't need to get too psychological with the female character (mid-50ish). Most of the scenario will combine a fetish with sex, and I am guiding things as carefully as possible to make the atmosphere seem real.

What I want to know form women, and pardon me if the first answer comes to mind is d'uh, is what appeal does a younger man have for a woman? I know that any man would love to get his sticky mits on a firm young body to sate his own lust, but that's just us.

The relationship between the characters began with physical attraction, as most do, and I am trying to make these characters more complex that just Hey sonny, let's fuck.

What does a woman want from a younger man sexually and emotionally?
Is an older woman interested in just a fling or a long-term relationship?
Does an older woman get excited by playing the role of the teacher? Our boy is fairly inexperienced.
Is an older woman more understanding of a man's fetish? I hope the answer is yes because that is the whole basis of the series.

Seriously, there is absolutely no appeal to me in a younger man. I think back to the days when I was young: the awkwardness, the quick cums (on their part), the lack of satisfaction (on my part), the kneading and groping and prodding. Occasionally I get 'hit on' by a guy who just cleared up his pimples, and all I can think of is how close in age he is to my kids. Of course, I do appreciate a young man with an attractive face and body, but my thoughts go along the lines of, "He's a real cutie. Bet the girls swoon over him."

Questions for you, Vin E:

This older female character...what's she like? I assume she's your average woman, but what's her character like? Instead of asking women what the attraction of younger men is, why don't you ask your character? It may seem silly, but it may work. If she wants a younger guy for a night of hot, steamy sex, you the author should be the first to know! If she's attracted to younger men because it reminds her of her youth, you're the one to know. I think that if older women did answer to this thread, their answers would vary because they don't necessarily have to be the same. Instead of depending on real answers, why dont' you make some up? It's what I do for my stories and I get positive responses most of the time.

My 'older woman' when I was in my 20s quite often stressed our mutual 'using' of each other. Having said that she bought me gifts and regularly insisted on paying if we were out. Whether through tittilation or insecurity, I never knew or asked, she insisted our relationship was purely sexual.

Vincent: I hope you receive a great variety of answers. My one extraordinary relationship with a man 20 years younger (I was 46) would not fit any of the stereotypical views and your questions are mostly irrelevant. Perhaps you are only interested in the sexual aspect? If so, I leave that to others.

FYI, both of us fell immediately in love but realized we had no future (not simply due to our ages). Of course the end was still difficult and painful.

I *never* felt maternal toward him, nor like a teacher; I learned much about life from him.

His sexual inexperience was made up for by the fact that he was crazy in love with me; couldn't have asked for more than that from *any* man in or out of bed.

We each had our creative talents (he was a composer) so our cultural and academic backgrounds did not make either of us feel less or more than the other.

I made him feel like a man and he made me feel like a girl.

I think perhaps because of his youth, he had the ability to tease me unlike anyone else in my life; I do not tease easily or well.

Returning after an absence of several hours, I thank one and all for your input.

I had planned on just writing the female character as I wanted - fantasy stuff and all - as suggested by Chicklet, but I don't want to wander too far down the road of stereotyping the proverbial horny housewife. The female character I had in mind when I posted this question is a lust, continental with a mysterious background. I have one scene for the story that I think is great, but I need to build it properly. I don't want readers saying Oh give me a freakin break!

The other problem is that she will not be the only older woman with whom he gets together. Since there will be more than one woman, I probably need more than one motivation. I think I am close - and reading the responses to this thread I am actually getting motivated to pick up the story again.
