How do people get to read a story before it is posted? I just had one of mine approved but not posted yet and, already, it says it's been read 16 times and I have 1 score posted at a 2? How does that happend? Will the 2 stand?

The speculation is that no one is reading it before the editor picks it up and posts it--that what you are seeing is a computer glitch that's happening to everyone's pending stories.

So how does that affect

the scoring of the story? so far, it shows 9 scores most of them low. Does it start from zero again when it is actually posted, or will it have to fight its way back from the low scoring?

Ah. Stories post in some computer views faster than in others. If it says it's "approved" in your submissions page, then it has been made available to some set of readers, even if not to you yet.

I keep two computers open (for work purposes), and the stories show as being posted in one computer before they do in another.

That's strange?

I wonder why that is? I've notice that before with some of my other stories too. Oh well, the story has fought its way back to a 4 and I still haven't seen them post the 10/9 stories yet.
I did the best I could, now it's up to the readers.
Thanks for the info.
