One of my readers brought this to my attention. My story, "The Succubus Heart Squad" is up there. Going through their back catalogue it looks like another low-effort scammer swiping stories off Literotica to sell on Amazon.

Check they haven't grabbed any of yours.

Is there a usual process Lit has now to DMCA these people? I haven't been around the forums for a looong time.

I was also a little lazy. I was too busy scanning other posts to check no-one else had raised it, I completely missed the sticky at the top! :D

HOW DO THEY GET AWAY??

My story that was published about 10 days ago is there, but with a slightly modified title. The teaser line is the same.

My story is "Dreams, Drawings, and Panties," while the story there is "Dreams, Drawings."

I just submitted a copyright infringement incident their the Amazon Contact Us page. Let's see what happens.

Wow... This lazy POS even left Author Notes intact. There's one thanking several Lit members and even saying it's part of the 2013 Halloween contest...

Don't forget to report it as being available cheaper somewhere else ( IE Free here ) while reporting it as plagiarized. It's in the KU program, so that alone can be enough to get it taken down.

The more this happens, especially with new content laws coming-the sooner Amazon is going to get tired of the theft issues and policing content, they're going to stop the indy authors.

They've been dying to do it ever since the Big six hopped onto kindle and wants the pesky indies to stop taking money that King and Rice and Clancy desperately need, and this will be their chance to do it, that won't look like they're just screwing the little guy...which is why they'd really be doing it.

I think you are on to something there Lovecraft, but I see it as they will simply ignore complaints of stories stolen from free sites. As far as I know, it ISN'T happening the other way with people copying indie erotica from Amazon and posting it here. Amazon publishing has already made some famous bestsellers in the real world, "The Martian" for one. It is also quite lucrative for certain niche genres like M-Preg; that, while profitable, are not worth the big publisher's time. It may come down to Amazon saying, "It's Literotica's problem NOT ours" leaving ALL of us SOL. I've been ripped off too, which is why I rarely post here anymore. I don't make a huge amount from Amazon, but it does come in handy. What does Amazon gain by taking down stolen L.Com stories? Not much. On the other hand, how strongly would they come down on someone who plagiarized an e-book from their platform and gave it away? With gusto! Amazon's bottom line is money they don't care if it's a few thousand here or a million there, as long as they are making money. Put a crimp in the money machine, however ...
The end game may be that sites such as L.com may not survive as their exclusivity becomes an afterthought. Fan-fiction sites will continue. But L.com may simply be pirated out of existence.

Update: Amazon has notified me that they are in the process of removing the item from their site. They say it typically takes 2-3 days for the changes to be reflected on the sites.

I'd encourage others to do the same so that they know the extent that Lust King is doing this.
