It's a sad day...

I especially liked his Conan stories....and then his run on Avengers ( even if the inker seemed to overrun his lines).
Big John never received the credit he should have while he was working. He wasn't flashy or a squeeky wheel demanding attention; he was a craftsman who did his work and did it well.
Thank God we will always have his art to remember.
