Another Obama Promise Nothing But Bullshit

I'm curious why only the republicans on the SBC worked on the analysis. Seems rather partisan to me.
 
That's old news. Anyone with half a brain realized that it was going to cost taxpayers. I read that it would add a trillion over the next 10 years.
 
So the republicans STILL think that the ACA will increase deficits. I'm sure they will, after all of the monkeying around with the law they did to try to make it fail. :cool:
 
I see in one sentence the words extrapolation, estimated and projected. I think I'll wait for a more definitive analysis from a more objective source, but thanks just the same Vetteman.

What do you think the CBO does if not the process the known, current data and extrapolate upon it to project estimated future expenditures?

I guess we'll just have to wait with breathless anticipation for your own personal definitive analysis.

But this wasn't a CBO analysis of it's data, it was a SBC Republican staff analysis of the CBO data.

But I'm sure THEY have no agenda. Nope, none at all. :rolleyes:

Unless I'm missing something, and please correct me if I am, the CBO is not the one reporting that there will be an increase to the deficit . . . It's Republicans that are reporting that.

Would you trust a Democrat report on gun violence? ;)

Glad you pointed that out, and mentioned the implications. Obviously I did in post #2, but Vette has me on ignore, and doesn't read anything he posts, so he didn't have any way to know until you and UD.

The ironic thing is that at the time of the debate and passage of the bill was that it was those of us not in favor of the bill pointing out that it would only drive costs up due to the removal of the efficiencies of the market and their replacement with the inefficiencies of government and it was the backers of the bill beating us to death with the CBO, the CBO, the NONPARTISAN CBO which was given doctored numbers by the Democrat (absolute) majority which proved that it would not cost any additional money in the future.

Now, of course, the CBO doesn't know fucking squat.
