Crossroads -- with Ralph Macchio.

It's freaking horrible, but whenever it's on; I stop and have to watch it all the way through. I get really pissed if I miss the guitar 'battle' at the end too.

I've even written an entire series of stories based on my perception of the movie.

Someone help me!

Sincerely,
ElSol

I ... oh, Gods, it is so hard to admit this.

I like ... oh, boy.

I had so much joy upon hearing that...

Erm...

I LIKED GLADIATOR!

Someone, help me?

:D

Red Dawn for me.

If it hadn't been an American movie about American partisans fighting the Russians and Cubans in the Third World War, it could easily have been a Russian movie about Russian partisans fighting the Germans and Romanians in the Second.

I don't want to like it, but I do.

I hate to be unoriginal, but I'm a sucker for Red Dawn too. It's a dreadful movie that I must have seen significant parts of at least a dozen times, but have never watched from beginning to end. If I'm surfing channels and it's on, I can't pass it by.

At least it is not, as someone said to me just yesterday, "The Karate Kid 3." :D For me it is some Kevin Costner movie with Robin Wright Penn. I have seen it a thousand times, and while I watch it through and through, and always cry at the end (LOL - so I am a sap) it is so bad that I cannot even recall the name of it. :D

Urban Cowboy. I love the young Travolta. Put him on a mechanical bull and I'm just... a puddle.

Bronson:
Mr Majestyk and some of his vigilante movies (Death Wish?)

Yeah, I gotta say that Coyote Ugly sticks it to me.

Also, Footloose. As a matter of fact, I occassionally rent Footloose. *shamefully hangs head*

I have one other, but I don't know I can confess it here...
OK...
*deep breath*
Bring It On.

Dirty Dancing. The acting is terrible and yet I am sucked into it every time.

Flashdance and that movie Gleaming The Cube with Christian Slater. It's a skateboarding movie with a murder, how lame is that? ;)

p.s. Rob, I'm coming over to watch Red Dawn, I'll bring the popcorn. :)

Cool. I'll bring the beer.

One small thing, I'm a bit of a military tech nut. I will openly mock the movie at times.

Never seen Flashdance. Not in a big hurry either.

Oop. Just remembered another one.

Thief Of Hearts. That scene where he seduces the woman on the pistol range gets me going every time.
