MC is a female college student - she sees a great looking guy on campus, but he’s taken - he has a beautiful girlfriend. MC needs help with a class, so guy tutors her. She’s falling for him, but won’t cross line. Guy’s girlfriend sometimes goes home on weekends leaving guy at school. He’s from elsewhere so doesn’t go with her.
One weekend he goes to surprise her and meet her family for the first time. When he knocks on the door, her mom answers and tells him that girl is with her boyfriend (high school boyfriend that she’s still sleeping with on weekends). Guy leaves, and goes back to school devastated. MC finds out what happened and goes to help him recover. Girlfriend tries to make excuse for her behavior, but also eventually tells MC that she could tell guy was interested in her. Story ends with MC and guy together.
