I for one thought it was great on so many levels. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be playing in a lot of places, but if you have the chance to check it out I recommend it.

But it is coming to Boston (Cambridge) soon! It should be a fun night out.

OK, there's another movie I'm gonna have to buy when it comes out on DVD.

I believe I saw it in the only theater playing it in Florida. It's a small theater that plays mostly independent films, many of which are gay-themed.

Not only was it a funny, raunchy coming of age comedy, I liked it for a few political reasons as well.

For one thing, it was totally unapologetic about the subject matter. They never dealt with the issue of discrimination and there really weren't many (any?) straight characters. You could tell it was made for gay people by gay people, unlike a movie like Brokeback Mountain which had a considerable agenda for straight audiences.

There was also a scene where they ridiculed BDSM which I found most hilarious.
