This is another running story. Each person must add one sentence to the story. However, each sentence must contain a pair of homonyms. Homonyms are words which sound the same but have completely different meanings. They may or may not be spelled the same.

Here goes:

Cloudy was not going to be tying the knot today.

Not after his girlfriend was supposed to meet him for lunch, but when she did not show, he tracked her down to find her full of his best friend's meat.

Sincerely,
ElSol

(Psst! If you're talking about Cloudy from the boards, I'm kinda under the impression that she's a she. I could be wrong, though.)

Which was just as well, she thought, as she had more to do than tie such foolish people together in marriage out on the foggy moor.

Besides, Cloudy had more than one lover at the current time, and they were all coming over for lunch. The problem was that she was supposed to cook and she was out of Thyme.
