that demostrates how organized religion is typically evil.

"A Christian school in Sacramento, California, says that it would expel a 5-year-old girl if her mother continues her part-time job as a stripper. Christina Silvas, 24, says that she took the job as an exotic dancer to pay for her daughter's $400 a month tuition."

Sorry if this was covered last week, I wasn't as active as I usually am and may have missed it.

Yeah, it's a private institution so they have every legal right, I assume. But still, what a tragedy. To hell with the child, the appearance of our school is more important...geez. This is bad!

when I went to a fundamental christian school, both myself and my parents had to sign morality contracts in order for me to be able to attend the school.

This included but was not limited to
no movies<even G ones because it would support a theater that showed R movies>
no restaurants that sold alcohol
no drinking
no smoking
no secular music

You better research some other sources Zam.

The little girl is back in school and the woman is no longer working as a stripper.

She signed a contract and the school worked with her for months. Even offered a scholarship for the little girl and a stipend while "they" (the school) helped her find work.

Half the story doesn't cut it.

LOL. Only now do I understand.

As a Post Script, the mother is upset that the little girl now knows that she worked as a stripper.

Until the media went off with it's 'holier than thou' barrage the little girl didn't know what her mother did, and probably never would have.
