Rob Porter, White House Staff Secretary, abruptly resigned when his two ex wives went on record about the verbal and physical abuse they sustained at his hands.

“He would throw me down on the bed, then put his full body weight on top of me, then grind a knee or elbow into my body, expressing rage,” said Colbie Holdness, his first wife. She also said he choked and punched her during their marriage.

For her part, his second wife, Jennifer Willoughy, said he was verbally abusive and once pulled her naked from the shower. She says she filed a protective order against Porter after he locked her inside their house and punched in the glass on the front door.

Both women told the FBI about the abuse when Porter went for his security clearance. As a result of their testimony, it was denied.

For his part Porter, like everyone else who was thrown out or run out of the con artist regime, blamed anyone but himself:

“These outrageous allegations are simply false,” he said. “I have been transparent and truthful about these vile claims, but I will not further engage publicly with a coordinated smear campaign.”

Senator Orrin Hatch, a man with little moral character himself, tried to deflect blame:

“It’s incredibly discouraging to see such a vile attack on such a decent man,” Hatch told the Mail. “Shame on any publication that would print this — and shame on the politically motivated, morally bankrupt character assassins that would attempt to sully a man’s good name.”

Because releasing a one-sided, politically motivated memo which cherry picked tidbits and disclosed classified information is in no way an attempt to sully a man's good name.

UPDATE

The con artist regime KNEW about the attacks and degradation, but instead of doing the right thing and telling Porter to take a hike, they sought ways to defend him.

(CNN)Allegations of domestic abuse levied against top White House staffer Rob Porter by his ex-wives were known among senior aides to President Donald Trump for months, even as his stock in the West Wing continued to rise, multiple sources told CNN on Wednesday.

. . .

By early fall, it was widely known among Trump's top aides -- including chief of staff John Kelly -- both that Porter was facing troubles in obtaining the clearance and that his ex-wives claimed he had abused them. No action was taken to remove him from the staff.

This sounds somewhat familiar. When else has this corrupt regime known about a personnel issue and instead of taking immediate action, like Mueller did when he found out someone on his team had sent unflattering texts about the con artist, let things go until it became a near crisis?

Hmmmmm. . .

As I just wrote in a nearby thread:

The White House knew for months but did nothing. As usual. Sad.

But spousal abuse ain't no big thang around the White House. They got them some bigger fish to fry. Ricos to enrich further. Pobrecitos to fuck-over more. Families and communities to shred. Jobs to ship offshore. Bribes to collect. Treasons to dodge. Y'know, important stuff. Who cares about wife-beatings? Happens all the time in their world. Is Melania bruised?
