I'm having memory leak problems with Firefox. The longer I leave my browser open, the memory it takes up (it's gotten as high as 150,000k). When I close and reopen the browser, it goes back to its original of around 20000k and then escalates again. I've googled it and read the firefox how-tos. I have my cache saving really really low, I keep my cookies and my download history and my browsing history cleared. And it keeps happening. And I hate to say it but the more complicated directions on how to fix it are way over my head.
Anyone have suggestions, fixes, or explanations for me??? Or will I just have to get used to closing my browser every ten minutes?

Firefox leaks memory, that's just the way it is. There is a solution, if you are geeky (read computer savvy) enough:

Or do like me and use Opera instead. It's fast as fuck and has the advantage of looking cool.

I use Opera some, but for whatever reason, my school websites don't get along with Opera, so I stuck it out with Firefox. Which I love, cept for this stupid memory mess. I don't have lots of excess RAM, so I get alot of slowdown if I don't want Firefox.
