I don't think we need this shit right now. Just indict Rich's x wife, have her flee the country, then Hillary can pardon her when she is elected the village leader in 2004.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Former President Clinton, who survived a Senate trial on whether to remove him, could technically face new impeachment charges over his last-minute pardon of fugitive financier Marc Rich, a senior Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee says.

Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, interviewed on ``Fox News Sunday,'' said legal research led him to believe a former president ``technically could still be impeached.'' He did not suggest what the specific charges might be.

Good strategy also. The dems goal, as was pointed out to me, is to take advantage of the off-year (right term?) elections to gain control of the house since the party in power has lost seats for, I think it was, 80 years. Hence, they must get started early on destroying the image of the current administration.

So, you play offense and delay the ineviatable. Keep reminding, for as long as possible, what went on now that the Clinton's no longer have spin control and use things like that party and other things to link current democrats and put them on the defensive so they do not get the luxury of only having to play offense.

Even though personally, I would like an end to it.

More importantly, Clinton no longer controls the Department of Justice...

Are we as a nation not going to be happy until we put a president in jail?

:p

Siren

And yet, he never learns.

Like a stupid child that has to keep touching the pretty orange flames. Let him get what he deserves, put him in jail before he does something that might hurt someone.

Too late.

Before he hurts himself?

Ambrosious ...I couldnt have done Rocky Springs without ya,.,,

:p

The blood lust is not near as sad to me as the way some people overlook his criminal activity with a "To the victor go the spoils" kind of attitude. Oh, well. He's gone, and that is what is important.

We do make a good team, huh?

Yea we do .,....Oh 'Weaver of the written words"

:p

I quote it as I see it....hahaha

:p

Ouch, at least I admitted when I was wrong! I call trolls names. I call the president dubya. I didn't call you a name. I didn't mention you, but you remembered. Should have been a tribute that I at least pay attention to what is being said. I can even change my mind if you give reasonable argument. As for the rest, I just assume it was hard for you to stop once you were on a roll, but that's okay.

Hey, I am always happy to clarify. I am always happy to discuss, I do not mind being corrected. It's amusement. Someone asks, how do you feel, what do you think, and sometimes I answer. I really do not put a lot of thought into it. It is a porno site (sorry Laurel and Manu, it is and excellent venue for tasteful, erotic liturature, none of which I am guilty of writing, just that bad crap I keep submitting), and 90% of the time it is tongue in cheek, but often I am too obtuse, or just plain stoopid! But I'm having fun while the weather is bad. Soon it will be nice, and I'll be out of your hair. Enjoy while you can!

Yikes, they'd better think hard and long about impeachment. The last one had two lasting effects: Clinton's approval rating soared, and rabid Republicans including the House Impeachment managers (with few notable exceptions) paid during last fall's elections.

Even former Clinton supporters are disgusted. Repubs should jump on that without using the backfiring impeachment stick. And I love Arlen Specter (even tho I'm more Dem than Rep) but sometimes I wish he's just shut up.
