Hi guys,
Today I got mail from a guy who really liked my story. I want to take the time right here to thank him for sending the feedback. "Thank you Kevin"
Now having thanked him for the feedback I want to ask him why he had to sign it anonymous. I have recieved a couple of of gripes from guys who sign their names anonymous , but they are bitches and want to hide behind a false name. You, Kevin, liked the story and wanted to thank me like a friend, why not give me a chance to reply to your kind letter.
You have no ideal how much it cheers up a writer to have somebody tell him, "Yeah, that's the way it is and you caught it just right".
thanks again and keep you feedback coming, but next time give me an address to reply to in person to thank you for you interest in my writing.

Annonymous is always there. We don't know who he is. He may be some weird crumudgeon who loves to tinker with our minds or some humor monger woth loves to see his own stuff in print (even though he/she doesn't have what it takes to put his/her name to it).

If you want to respond, there is a thread "Annomyous" in the AH for just that purpose. ;)

Also, I believe that someone that only reads and is not a member, may leave comments but must do so as annonymous. May be why he included his name. Just some person that enjoys reading the submissions.

:)

I love An Onymous when she is kind and sweet.

I love her when she is well-spoken, constructively critical, and uses good grammar.

But she is a terrible bitch when she wants to be, and decides to criticize my writing style as childish in terrible spelling and fragments.

An Onymous- Schizo.

thanks for the info.

Hi JPMMURPHY,

I wasn't aware that people who were not members had to sign their name as anonymous. And like you say he did leave me with his name. I guess that now I owe Kevin an "I sorry" also.

Thank you Jenny Jackson for the advice about where to respond. I will go there with a reply .

JPMMURPHY is not quite right. Yes, if you are not a member, any public comment you make must be anonymous. However, if you send private feedback you are asked if you want to give a email address if you want a reply. There may be loads of reasons why someone doesn't want to identify him/herself. Some people just want to say they appreciated your story and move on.

I think you misunderstood Jenny's comment. As far as I can see, the AH anonymous thread is for letting off steam rather than tracking down Kevins.

There are a lot of Thank You's in there too, elfin. Most of the entries in that thread are quite humerous actually. Some very nice. Others almost unintellegable.

Doesn't it suck always being right?

Do you guys know that there is actually a member that has the nick "anonymous"?
