anonomous feedback

People look at my profile picture and feel free to criticize my hair. WHY?
I don't care if they criticize the poem I posted, that's different.
I know the hair is outdated. I also know I live in a country where it is my right to choose my own hairstyle, the same as it is their right to find fault with it. Now I have no gripe about the people who leave feedback, good or bad, about my poem. Just leave my hair alone.

I just checked your profile and didn't see a pic of

your hair! I would never instult your hair anyway. those kinda people are just dumb. don't listen to them!

Never worry about feedback from Anonymous. If he had anything to say he wouldn't be Anonymous. There are quite a few bozo's running around Lit making nasty remarks but hiding behind the Anonymous moniker.

I agree with you JJ. The anonymous feature lets people feels superior to everyone while hiding. If their opinions were really worth the time it took to type them then they would be willing to make themselves known.

even worse

Even worse when you publish stories! some of the feedback I got would make a trucker blush!

Before I joined Lit

I was a fairly irregular anon. poster. But I only posted if I was really touched by a certain story.

I got back a pretty nasty sting myself from an anon. poster today myself, but it was well placed (I had a rather 'artistic' piece go up and that reader had trouble following it). I was horrified, I had never had such a brutal comment outside of a face to face contact. But then I reflected and realized, that comment was purposeful: my piece was very hard to follow.

I know what I need to fix. But no one would have told me otherwise. This has also heralded the reaffirmation of me hunting down an editor. Particularlly for pieces I've posted no where else yet.

Bottom line: Sometimes anonymus posters are helpful. Mostly they're annoying otherwise.

So this Anonymos poster helped you to realize a certain point about your story. My anon posters have NEVER mentioned my poem. The only thing they want to criticize is my hair and they really make a point to tell me how outdated my look is....LOL

Not only that but many times the feedback does not even relate to any of your stories. I get two kinds:

"Nice ass, baby"

and

"You are a sick f**king Bitch. I can tell you are nothing but a Black, Nigger, Slut Whore." In truth, I'm very much caucasion and not Black. The story had nothing to do with me.

To the first I never respond. To the second I send a nice thank-you note to the Red-Neck Klansman who sent it with my best wishes for his future burning in Hell.

To be fair, that is a nice ass. But I do understand your frustration with feedback that doesn't have anything to do with the story.

Someone criticized your hair, and anonymously at that? *omg* and *lol* at them - because that is the most shallow, most ridiculous thing! I have "do what I want to do hair" myself, not that that matters, but, I mean ... who cares? Who should care?

Sheesh - Mr./Ms. anonymous poster has a problem with him/herself, I am guessing, and took it out on you.

Nice Jenny!

Nice Jenny I like the way you think and you're right ..some feedback does not relate to the story at all! It's funny. Luckily we do get some positive feedback to outway the negative.

That's exactly what I was thinking myself crazygirlbunz .... LOL

Actually a guy emailed me anonymously and told me that 6 of the females in his office thought my hairstyle outdated and in emailing me that way he was saving himself an arguement

First: Why in the Hell was he scanning my profile on the net while at work?

Second: What was it about my hair that caught the attention of 7 people in an office?

Third: Why tell me? I don't care if my hair is outdated, not movie star styled, wild and curly, I like it.

I guess some people have to find things about others to criticize in order to feel good about their own lives and how they themselves look.

I would like to think that judging a person by actions and what is on the inside is what counts but I guess I would be lying to myself.

I hate lying to myself cause I just end up arguing with myself and people then consider me crazy for doing all the arguing outloud...... ;) ROFLMAO

LMAO I have never gotten a positive feedback unless being asked to hook up is positive.

My husband doesn't find those feedbacks all that positive come to think of it...LMAO

still

Tawny I still need to see a pic of your hair so that I can tell you how beautiful it is!

critic of yuor hair

Ok I've seen your hair and let me offer an honest critic!

Your hair is amazing! It's wonderful. It's both beautiful and sexy. I've never been with a woman with hair as thick and long on wonderful as yours is. I'll go to my grave with that regret. Truly amazing on a scale of 1-10 your hair is a ten.

I must say you are wonderful, sethp...

You never fail to bring a smile to my face even when I'm feeling sad!

janiexx:D

PS - Oh, just thought...does that mean I'm one of your fans??

I hope so!

Only you can say for sure but....The world would be a much better place if sethp had at least one more fan! lol

and by the way..I have a story idea featuring tawny's hair and the amazing janiexx! lol more on that later!

Well...this is a funny thing, but I do have long tawny-ish hair...

Story idea sounds good ;)

janiexx
