LOL... I've been wallowing in a sea of mental confusion. I had a breakdown and couldn't deal with all the bullshit so I cut it out of my life. Unfortunately that meant that Lit had to take a place on the back burner. I've been running a picture board for perverts along with a crazed Canadian and two psychotic Germans. It takes up a bit of time but it's teaching me lots of valuable skills... like how to crack paysites.

I've just got back into writing on a limited basis. I'm going to carry on with the erotica but am working on a novel at the moment. Wish me luck... and happy birthday. 43 years young today so I'm heading out soon to find a virgin to sacrifice.

I've just finished my contest story (late as usual and unlikely to get enough votes) but can anyone have a quick squint at it for me?

I had a friend look at the first part and they didn't say it was rubbish (gave good edit)

So can someone have a look at the whole thing please? A general read or structural(?) edit either/or. But there isn't much time left.

Oh one thing. I have no idea what category to place it in. Loving wives seems favourite but you know what those readers are like.

Good News:

My Nude Day Contest entry, How To Get Your Characters Naked, got 32 votes in its first day, more than enough to qualify for the contest. (assuming more than 7 are not removed!)

Bad News:

It was also an active day for trolls, I assume there are 1's and 2's in the mix as I seem to be hovering about 3.90. Hmmmm......for once I may qualify for the lowest rated story!!!!! (drum roll here)

Courage, oh sad one. The trolls seem very active in this contest. Maybe it's all those single-digit brainiacs being out of their junior high special-ed classes on summer vacation. Once the story is off the NEW list, all activity, including that by trolls, will drop--a lot.

Has anyone heard the latest on posting times? Last week DK said hers was up in under an hour. I put one up 12 hours ago and it's still pending. I don't mind waiting (I'm the dumb-ass who waited so long to get it finished), but I'm nervous that after a day or two it might be too late.

I could really use some reassurance here. All the other Nude Beach Bride stories are doing well- only ch 2 is below 4.50, and it is within a hair of there. Is this one that much worse?

Posting times for stories

Has anyone heard the latest on posting times? Last week DK said hers was up in under an hour. I put one up 12 hours ago and it's still pending. I don't mind waiting (I'm the dumb-ass who waited so long to get it finished), but I'm nervous that after a day or two it might be too late.

I submitted two nude day stories, they were up the following morning when I checked. As for my other stories, 6 days seem to be about the average.

As far as votes, they always seem to come through. Loving wife always seem to get the most votes but lowest scores. Romance get the better scores with a decent ending.

Honestly, Sirhugs, it was right on par with the others... this contest just has some serious trollage going on... I have my theories, but I'll keep quiet, as speaking out tends to just get me yelled at...

as for submission/posting times, they seem to be running slightly slower than average here at the end than they did at the beginning... maybe we'll have a glut of stories... I've heard several people say they're still working... maybe you all submitted at once!
