Ok, as a relative new comer here I'm reluctant to whinge, but really this gets my goat.

See if this is familiar to anyone, you see a post with the title like
"Horny looking for fun tonight!" (or similar)
The text of the thread says something similar but what it doesn't state is the persons sex (male / female or otherwise) so you go into the public profile, and it doesn't say there either.

I know some people like to role play and keep it a secret, but ffs it's really really annoying and I would imagine alot of people simply don't reply to those threads and people because you don't know what to say.....

Me too. I man, even if we know what city one is in, how can a stalker find someone with some phony handle, or just a first name? I'd love to be able to look up people by city so I could make some friends, locally. By the way, my phone # has been published in my profile.. as well as at other sites for many months - and never have I had and annoying calls.

It's quite easy, really. 70% of Personals Board threads are started by horny men. 29.5% of the threads are started by horny men posing as horny women.

Real women make up the remaining .5% of thread starters; usually, though, they've gotten lost and ended up here by accident.

If a woman really wanted to hook up in the personals there's no reason for her to post a thread at all. There are more than enough lurkers to take care of her.

Personally, I would never meet anyone from the personals. I really think it's the wrong way to do it. Just by cruising the Playground, GB and AH and actully getting known and meeting people is such a better way.
