Shouldn't this be posted in "Story Ideas"?

Of course, you'ld have to make Anne 18 years old to post it on Lit, but you can't have everything.

Depends on your taste, but I enjoyed them. Sort of a series like the book Little Women, if memory serves. Not sure if I'd like them as much now because I was a teenager when I read them, but I remember really liking them.

Oh, I thought they were awsome. Way better than Little Women! And the movie adaptations were excellent too. but the books are very special. I read them in High School, but even so, I feel pretty certain I'd still like them, jaded though I am. In fact, maybe I should find some copys, they may be just the thing:) The other book that they bring to mind for me is Rebecca of Sunnybrook farm, both being about little girls who 1) talk to much 2) read too much and 3) think too much. Are too cheeky, but charm all of the grown ups anyway:)-- eventually. Anne is magical without being fantasy. Her unique perspective on life is breathtaking. Her indomidable spirit is refreshing, and her heartaches (weather it's someone leaving the 'e' off her name, or the loss of of a loved one) are real.

I heartily recomend.
