Yes , I believe that it is correct ,although for that interpretation it has to be worn on the appropriate ankle , left I think . I’m sure many Women wear them purely as an item of jewellery and are unaware of the underlying significance .

This is what Wikipedia has to say on the subject so perhaps I am incorrect in thinking that it has to be worn on the left ankle to indicate a hot Wife .

i've just always liked how they feel, have one i wear 24/7 it's a silver chain with two carved gemstones on it. lol didn't know they had any sexual meaning till now.
