sunandshadow said:I love anime - mostly school romance comedy things, or marooned in an alien/fantasy world things, and all things gender-bending or yaoi. I don't like violence or tragedy though, so that excludes a lot of anime from what I'm willing to watch or would like if I watched it. I didn't particualrly like Akira for example.

It is a show about an RPG (if you want a summary in 12 words or less), so there are a few scenes of players fighting monsters, and players killing players, but that's death in the RPG sense: "Oops. Well, where did I save my game last..?"
Anyways. I really enjoyed .hack//SIGN, (I've seen Legend of the Twilight, but that wasn't as good in my oppinion). Anyone have suggestions of other shows I might like?

There are lots of animes that aren't violent. (I don't count a fist fight or comical martial arts as violent, I'm happy as long as nobody dies.) Some great non-violent animes are: Uninhabited Planet Survive, Akazukin ChaCha, GreenGreen, Dragon Half, Haunted Junction, I My Me Strawberry Eggs, They Were Eleven, and there are lots more.Jason_2006 said:i dont think i have watched an anime yet that wasnt violent.lol. as for the gender bending stuff, this girl friend of mind tried to get me into it. some of it was pretty hot.lol.![]()
