Anime/Hentai Military School Thread OOC

OOC: Though I don't watch a lot of Anime I am a big fan. In Anime you can pretty much do anything you want plot wise. You aren't hampered by anything and you can be as violent or as sexually as you want in a story so I wanted to combine a few themes and run a game.

Tokyo, Japan 2020...International Military Academy. In the year 2000 technology became available to allow travel to other dimensions. What scientists found was terrifying. One realm was filled with creatures that can only be described as vampires...another has orc like creatures that are armed with automatic weapons....yet another is a window to warring galactic space empires. Though governements controlled the technology dimensional invaders have developed their own technology and are invading earth.


By 2010 the world is united but it is more like an armed camp. Every nation spends larges amounts of their resources to stay secure or they perish. The warrior culture is reborn and at any given time a large part of a a nation's polution is in the military or working as mercenaries. The world has one army with many regions.


Now that you have had the history lesson this brings us to the writer/player role. Players are students at one of the many military academies around the world. The player is in their "late teens" which is common in anime, and are going to school to study to be either comissioned or noncomissioned officers in either the global army or regional force. Players will get items and gear to help them as the adventure around the academy and maybe even other realms. I do hope for plenty of sex and violence in this campaign as students work to make the great and survive. As you attend classes you improve your skills as does your experiences.

Every student gets a dorm room that has a small halway from the main hall door on the right the bedroom with bed and dresser...on the left a small room with desk and empty shelves at the end of the hall are two doors one is a store room and the other a full bath. If students want to room together get another bedroom and a common room.

Race....humans to start. Mutations, scientific experiments, potions...etc can make big changes.


The online roleplay section does not focus on sex....don't mean we can't have it as apart of the story.

Re: Elven Fantasy.

Several of my most favorite rp characters came from that thread.

I however do crack down on threads that are about nothing other than purely sex.

They don't belong.

But if you have a well crafted story, why burst blood vessels over sex scenes? *Shrug*

Dunno if you've ever seen Geobreeders, but I have, and I love the "Phantom Cats"! (Bake-Neko) Basically, they are cunning and intellegent cats who can shift into the form of humans, and, if the situation warrents, travel down electric cableing and take control of basic electronic equipment by "possessing" it. In human form, ranged gear does significant damage, but it can normally be healed quickly. In cat form, they are as vulnerable and mortal as any other feline.

Fair enough - I'll go ahead and create a character and hope someone comes along who wants to play opposite me.

How about... Artificial Intelligence turned out to be an impossible thing for humans to create, at least in this millennium. But instead, they figured out how to run an exhaustive series of tests on an adult brain to convert it to software. This is destructive to the brain so it is only done on people who have been crippled or 'killed' except for the prompt application of life support. (Similar to Anne McCaffrey's Ship-people except with hers the actual biological brain is preserved, not converted to software.) A human converted to software is called an NI (natural intelligence). They are placed into mechas or small spaceships, and are also trained at the academy and paired with a human pilot.

Normally NIs are asexual because they no longer have hormones, or physical sensations. However, NIs are people and have all the rights of people, including the right to alter their own software. They all do this, automating tasks they need to do all the time and creating virtual avatars to use when speaking to humans. (Virtual reality exists and humans regularly play games and train in it.) My character just went a bit farther in customizing his software than usual. He wrote a program that made his virtual reality avatar be not just for looks, but responsive to touch, smell, and taste. He also wrote a program emulating the effect of hormones on his mind, so he could feel arousal and attraction.

An NI's 'home' is really the virtual environment they work and play in, plus the physical environment of their mecha or ship, the interior where the pilot rides, inside the hardware, and the exterior as shown by the mecha/ship's sensors. Mechas/ships sit docked in the bay when they aren't in use. The NI doesn't have to stay inside the machine though, he can use the internet to send his virtual avatar anywhere there is a hologram projector or a tv/computer monitor. (Which is most of the campus, since NIs need to be able to go wherever pilot trainees can go.) An NI can also send out a mobile robot with a hologram projector if they want to go into town or the countryside. And finally, pilot candidates have wireless internet receptors in their heads to allow NIs to talk to them, so a partnered NI can 'ride' inside his pilot's head and perceive through the pilot's senses.

Now his problem is that humans see mechas and spaceships as machines, expected to be neuter. He wants to find a pilot who will be his lover. And he has to work around the fact that there are fewer mechas/ships than pilot candidates, and many human pilot candidates would do anything to bribe an NI into choosing them as their pilot, including faking a romance.

Age: 25 (23 at 'death' plus 2 years of training)

Nationality: Japanese

Race: 1/4 Japanese, 1/4 French, half German, but born and raised in Japan so considers himself Japanese despite originally looking mostly Aryan.

Physical Description: Usually appears as a tall handsome muscular male with a light golden tan, shoulder-length blond hair, and sparkling green eyes - a mild improvement on his appearance while alive. But can temporarily assume any appearance.

Personality: Creative, cheerful, intelligent, benevolently manipulative, curious about the other dimensions. Loves abstract systems, creative problem solving, and psychoanalyzing people. Is something of a teacher's pet and loves to assist in training sessions or be a mentor/tutor.

Family Background: His still-living family are uncomfortable but civil with him now that he is bodyless and unaging. Also feels a bit excluded from the NI community because he is a sexual sensual being and they are mostly not, although some have been requesting copies of his sensation-simulating and hormone-simulating programs.

Skills: Programming, virtual reality art, assessing people and manipulating them, eloquent and persuasive, thinking outside the box, helping other student NIs come to grips with being bodiless creatures of software, explaining NIs to human pilot-candidates, and of course being a mecha or ship and tapping into pilot-candidates' heads.

Career Skills: Was a university student studying video game design. Skills: internet use especially for research, programming, computer art, theory of story, psychology of entertainment and audiences, also always considered himself something of an artist at sex, making the experience a pleasing and entertaining one for his partner.

When shifted into her "natural" state, she appears to be an above-average height tabby kitten with unusually expressive features
Personality: A pleasantly cheerful woman, Maki very rarely looses her demeanor, except when her life is in imminent danger. At such times, she gets her heckles up and becomes hightly defensive. When in her "natural" state, she is quite plaful
Family Background: Maki comes from a tribe of city Nekomusume, who have spent generations working their way into various levels of society, mostly for their own individual reasons, but also to secure their liniage and ensure that they do not become a dying breed as the majority of the tribe is female. Being one of the latest generation, Maki has been left to her own devices, but knows that there is always someone she can contact if need be

Ok into the pool! this one sounds like it might go father than the last few I have joined with many of you and Jagged's threads useally last a while. So with a 360 degree back flip with an 180 degree twist my character bio lands gracefully on his bare back side as he lands into the pool. The adjorning sound is something akin to the crack of a whip against the bottom of an unwilling man and his loving mistress and an audible wincing oooooooo sound from the surrounding swimmers fills the area.

His voice bellows with strength and his eyes, though blue, send a chilling ferocious glare deep into the hearts of men and many of those that are not men. He is an embodiment of warriors of old a few years ago perhaps someone born in the wrong period of time but with the current crisis there is no better time for a warrior such as himself to arrive into the world.

Family history: Orn is the younger brother of Ashton Kross a man that in this instance has risen up to captin in one of the man armies of the world. Following in his brother's footsteps he served with the Norwiegen army and made the rank of Sargent without too much trouble. Orn and Ashton Kross have never known their true parents as were both raised in the care of Aaryn Kross, a retiered general who had happend on the two brothers one day. It is unclear how exactly it happened since Aaryn has not told them. Neither one brother really cares too much about their parents decideing to concentrate on the important task of saving the planet from its own foolishness. They love each other fiercely and would both gladly sacrafice each others lives for their brother. At this time they are currently sepperated and puresueing their own paths with a ongoing promise of meeting in Norway for one week out of every year to be just brothers again. They never take time off for themselves unless ordered by their commanding officers except for this one week. Even if the have to go AWOL neither brother will miss it.

The idea of 'genetic' or 'bred' soldiers was not a new concept. Children raised and trained from an extremly young age for use as shock troops had been incorporated for years. The difficulty with such troops was having skilled leaders and officers in the field which could both keep pace with such elite troops and be flexible enough to be able to adapt to the ever changing battlefield. James is one of the first 'batch' who was bred and trained specifically to command.
