I would like opinions on animes/mangas you have liked and disliked....Post quotes from them as well if you wish

My personal faves may be considered childish, but they are still quite good....

Sailor Moon (japanese versions only, english versions lose so much in translation)

The Slayers
Lodoss Wars (spelled wrong I do believe)

Plus more, but those are my faves....

I like DBZ and Tenchi Muyo and I don't care what anyone says!

My favorite anime movie is Ghost in the Shell, followed closely by Perfect Blue.

Currently obsessed with Rurouni Kenshin (the manga, never seen the anime).

And I also recommend Vampire Princess Miyu, even though it does have gratuitous sash (hehe, private joke). It actually reaches conclusions at the end of each episode, so rare for an anime. And for some strange reason, it reminds me of the X-Files, even though there are no FBI agents involved. Can anyone back me up on this?

Sailor Moon is probably the best anime/manga to use if you're learning how to draw anime. I know that's how I started. *grins*

Oh... and has anyone seen that "monster" thingy show. About the kid who got sucked into a game.. It used to be on Fox. *grins* That's great to steal from to learn to draw wolves, and bunnies. LOL

DAYANARA.....I have an online friend (I'll call her ServoMoon-her old s/n) who is currently 18 but I met her through her twin sister online when they were 16. ServoMoon has always had great interest with anime while her twin sister was more into boys, sex (no not with me), music, smoking, etc. I thought that it was strange for a teenage girl, at that period of time where girls her age are thinking like her sister, to have such interest. That is, however, until I met a few guys at work who shared the same interest. These guys' ages ranged from 25-35.
I just wanted to convince you that your personal fave is NOT childish in any way, shape, form, or fashion.

Good lord, I have CARTONS full of sketch pads of my anime/manga drawings starting from about 10th grade til now.

Once you get the hang of those eyes, the rest is easy! (Well aside from making still drawings mimic movement - it was a bitch teaching myself to do that)
