It's Buffy isn't it?" Was all I could ask. seeing Willow sit there on our couch, her eyes full of sorrow.
The question and image still running through my head as I walk through the park, a full moon lighting the way. I know I should have stayed there and talked to her, but I am not a talker like Cordellia I would just sit there and try to think of something to say. Even if I could, I would say the wrong thing. Besides with my feelings for Buffy that I bottled up, I had to get out of there before I did something I would regret.
A slight breeze starts to blow, causing my black trench coat to flow behind me. "Why did she have to be the slayer? Why did she have to give herself? Why couldn't it have been someone, anyone else?" I ask myself, even though I don't have the answers.
I continue to wonder around the city, feeling myself drawn somewhere but not knowing where I am headed.
In my absent minded state, I walk by a man getting mugged by a gang, I see it happening but I really don't feel like dealing wth violence right now, besides violence might bring my darker self out. Feeling sorry for the guy, I walk forward a little farther before my heart guides me back to the group of guys attacking the man. "Leave the guy alone." I say in a low almost growl like tone. I hear the leader laugh, then he speaks to me, "You weak fool, you should have kept on walking." Then he charges me, so I side step and hit him across the back, sending him crashing into the wall. Walking over to him, I vamp out and pick him up by the collar of his shirt, his feet dangling in the air, "Now you listen to me you stupid fool, take your gang and get out of my town, because if I see any of you again you will be six feet under." I say to him, before tossing him like a rag doll into his friends. "GO, NOW!!" I shout to them.
As they run, I turn and walk, rather drawn into the dark alley before me. "I know you are here watching me, you might as well come on out." I growl, and wait for her to show herself.
