And this is why we need better birth control....

Well,

That was a good heated discussion for a Sunday night! Good fun.
And it wasn't about Dubya. So that's a plus. :)

Then you don't fully understand how from the moment they're born, they're totally dependant upon you.
Yes, when they're a small, helpless baby. But once they start venturing off into the world and start going to school, a parent can no longer shield their children from everything, and will start having less influence on them.

As Lew just said, above. The woman flashed her BRA.

I understand that. But the intent was there just the same. She lifted her shirt, perhaps removed her coat, and flashed her bra....which covers her boobs.

I am reading what you and Lew are saying..no one died...no one got hurt..it wasn't as if a gun was shot into the crowd...but it was an incident that should never have taken place. Period.

Not trying to fuel the fire here, but I feel compelled to repeat myself. Eyes on the ball, or as it were, the hockey puck.

I zed:
Tits or not ain't the issue IMO. Their mom making an ass of herself is.

Which makes it a smaller issue than the principle of exposing 11 y.o's to boobage or not. But a bigger issue for this particular woman's kids, I'm sure.

Sadly I HAVE to go now. I'm at work tomorrow.

I've subb'ed the thread so will get back to it tomorrow night.

To reiterate....

Ok, but that makes you a parent just like me, then. Kids, no kids, it makes no difference. It doesn't make anyone's opinion less valid. We were all kids once.

Maybe our view of the world changes when we have children of our own, but we are all different, and all react differently to different things.

Exactly!!!!!

No matter what age, a kid sees body parts...TV, video games, sports magazines....

The issue is the fact that the kids will be the "butt" of jokes...the turmoil they have to go through because of their mother's stupidity is more outrageous.

I didn't say it made anyone's opinion less valid, I simply said that it changes some people's opinions a bit. Of course we all react differently to different things. It's healthy to debate.

That's a little presumptuous don't you think? How do you know how her kids, or her kids friends, reacted? They may happen to think the mom is totally hot and want to hang out with the kid more because of it.

Then that just re-enforces the fact that kids (especially at that age) can be cruel.

Indeed. :rose:

I'm off now, too. Thanks for sparking up a good discussion, SIMA.

Before this goes any further, I really need a lighter environment.

Anyone wanna hear me make a fool of myself singing on Paltalk? LOL

Had fun. to you all... Huggs and gropes to those that need em.

Love you guys.. wow what a different start to a Monday morning LOL

Take care you all. It's just a debate, don't take it personal.

You seriously think that? Seriously?

So, the kids friends will want to hang out with that kid more b/c the mom flashed her bra?

If the mom was hot prior to flashing, she would be hot regardless. A MILF is a MILF.

Where was the husband during all this?

Granted, I was a teen when it happened. I got gomments like that about my mom, and I wanted to either kill yself, kill her or kill my perv friends. She was Mom, gadammit, she wasn't supposed to be hot, or cool, or the other way around either. She was supposed to be Mom, and have as little to do with my friends as possible. From about 10 to 15, kids do theit damndest to create an identity for themself. The last thing they want is to have a jackass parent create it for them.

I'm saying it's a possiblity.
Hell, I've had crushes on my friend's mom's when I was that age, and also my next door neighbor who was in her late twenties/early thirties. Wow, she was the stuff of dreams.. :D

and I even got to see her in a swimsuit sometimes. yowza.
So seeing her in a bra would have been a definite bonus.

You know, I guess I am thinking on the other end of the stick. I dont know what boys are like at that age. Or any age for that matter...

Still, I think as a parent she should not have done that.

If you read what Liar said above, I think it does hurt the child of that parent.

I have a niece who thinks it is totally cool that her 16 year old friends who are boys think I am hot. If I were her mom, I think this would bother her...competition...even tho it's not (in reality) and we know kids that age don't have a handle on reality...

yeah, I'm sure it could have been embarassing for the kid. but I don't think it had a negative impact on his life.

Now, if she was a complete raving lunatic, and a crazy person all the time, then, yeah.. poor kid. but it sounds like it was just a minor infraction.

I've seen my friend's parents get crazy, mad, yell, etc.. and it never affected my friendship with them.

As ridiculous as this woman's behavior was, it was at a hockey game in Canada.

Those poor fans must be starving, if they're getting that rabid at a PeeWee game!:D
