That's pretty much how it happened to me. I had little to do with the actual planning of my wedding, so when crunch time came I was all "Huh? You mean we're really DOING this? NEXT week? FUCK!"

Just remember, it's not about the wedding, it's about the marriage. I kept that in mind and you could have dropped a vat of sheep shit in the middle of my reception and I would have just smiled dumbly through it.
