Well, people don't like their feelings invalidated and hopes dashed....they want the pretty lie, not the painful truth. I'm not saying that Trump will win. In fact, there is a case to the opposite effect, with Allan Lichtman famously predicting a Harris victory, but Nate has his model. People shouldn't attack him for following it.
