Among the AH irregulars who were winners in this year's Reader's Choice Awards were:

Colleen Thomas was named most influential writer

sweetsubsarahh got the most influential poet award and honors for her how-to essay

Lauren Hynde was the AH version of New Zealand, winning in three categories: genre transcending, erotic poetry, and illustrated poetry

Thesandman had an off year, ONLY winning two: novel/novella – best mind control

Master_Vassago came in first in transsexual & cross-dressing. Halloween this year should be fun in his neighborhood.

Congratulations to the AH winners and nominees. No doubt there are some folks I've forgotten, overlooked, snubbed, etc. That's not fair. But if life were fair, noboby would be in wheelchairs.

WOOHOO!

ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY AWESOME!!!!! :D :D :D

What did I tell ya, eh Colly? I had faith. That award is so well deserved, wish I could hug ya.

Lauren, flippin' eck, girl! Oustanding!

Sarah, brilliant!

Thesandman, I don't think we've ever actually 'spoken', but great job! Very well deserved.

Master Vassago, another oustanding winner.

Congratulations to absolutely everyone. I read through a hell of a lot of the entries, and voted in every category. The standard of all nominees was amazing.

We all deserve massive pats on the back.

Thanks to everyone for the congratulations. I will be the first to admit I am still pretty much in shock. I was thrilled by the nomination, but really felt my work didn't appeal to a wide enough audience to deserve serious consideration. That I won is as much a tribute to my friends here at the Ah and my core of readers who have never been stingy with praise, feedback, concerns and questions about my writing. I am indebted to you all. I don't know what else to say, except that I am crying and they are the good kind of tears. Thank you all so much.

My congrats to all the other winners and to the nominees as well. Kudos to you all.

Colly, you may be surprised, but the rest of us are not. Well deserved indeed. Big congratulations.

Oh yeah, to the rest of the winners too. :D

I'm really happy for you--you are so prolific and you give so much of yourself to the writers here--the honor is most appropriate. :)

Adding my 2 cents......

Wanted to congratulate everyone here who were winners, especially Colleen Thomas for Most Influential. And some very dear friends for their recognition, Bear Lee & Dawn, Sweetsubsarah, Sarahh, Just-John, & Lauren Hynde, Master "V" as well as a host of others. It was an acceptional year, acceptional writing.

Congratulations and best wishes to all. And to all who voted and supported me for the variety of categories I was in, winner or not...thank you. I appreciate it more than any of you could even begin to realize.

And I do hope to be returning to Lit again soon. Until then...

I remain,

Sandy,

Want to thank you for all your help and motivation over the years... (wow it really is plural now). I've enjoyed our discussions, enjoyed reading your stories and enjoyed competing with you in the various categories we seem to frequent together. Congrats, hurry back and keep writing.

Yikes-wheelchair:( My congrats to all winners, nominees and all others that contribute. And to Thesandman, hurry back guy:)

Bear Lee,

If you were in a wheelchair, it'd be a souped up number like Blake Edwards used at the Academy awards. :)

Even with my advanced CRS (can't remember shit), I shouldn't have forgotten someone who came home the winner in THREE (3) (III) different categories. Of course I also left Just John off that list, so at least you were in good company.
