OOC:
This is a Si-Fi Star Trek thread. All are welcomed to join!
First I'll give my character's Bio, then I'll get into the opening.
Name: Bara T'Lar
Age: 23
Race: Bolarian (Delta Quardrent race that I just kinda... thought up)
Bara looks almost human, save for her cat like eyes, and the ever so faint ridge on her forehead. She had heard about the ship "Voyager" when she was a young child, and it has been her goal in life to go to Starfleet acadamy on Earth and serve like those great people did. There is only one problem...
IC:
My people's Past has been shattered forever. The dreams and laughter of children where robbed from us before I was even born. Our rich ways of life where turned into dust floating through the echoed winds of time. Needless to say I am bitter through and through.
It has been years since I last saw my home land. I was one of the first to escape the druges of tirany and slavery that my people now face. Although my home is not ideal, I hope to return some day. But that day will be no day soon.
As for now, I stand ont he former Cardisan outpost, now Bajorian and Federation controled. This is the space station Deep Space Nine. I am here acting as an interpator to the few refuges from my planet. This.. fedration has something called a Uneversal translator, but they do not have out language in it yet. Untill they update that system, I will remain here...
