I've done this to my girl before, and just a few days ago she finally agreed to "go down there" on me. And let me tell you, it was great.

Heres the "problem" though. She worries that its unhealty and a danger, and thus is very reluctant to do it (or receieve it for that matter)

I'm of the opinion that since we're both STD free (we were virgins when we met) and that we've been monogamous (spelling?) since we've been dating, that there aren't too many risks. She's probably more concerned with bacteria than any STD. Take a shower together beforehand (fun in itself) and wash each other's anal area. That should reassure her that you are really clean there.

I have this mint stuff... I don't even remember what it's called and I'm too lazy to go look... but anyhow, it's a multipurpose thing. You're right that the risk of an STD is moderately low, but the risk of illness is high, hence the need to wash thoroughly. Remember, feces is loaded with bacteria and analingus involves licking directly on the anus, the area most likely to be contaminated. By contrast, urine is sterile, so the risk of illness from fellatio is low.

Even your gf is still nervous after the soapy shower/bath, then try using a dental dam. If you don't want to buy one, you can improvise by using plastic wrap. Put a drop of lube on the side against your body to help conduct warmth and then let her go to town!

You may be able to find the Mint stuff CelticFrog spoke of at a sports or hunting type of store. I am not sure if it is the same exact thing but I remember someone having that at a camping trip when I was young. It was meant to be a mutlipurpose cleaner so you don't have to pack a lot.
