The anus is a muscle so you need to become accustomed to the size that you are working with in order to be comfortable with it. If at all possible go for easily sanitized materials such as silicone or glass or stainless steel. I find that these materials are better in many ways than just hygenics. I feel that rubber or jelly and plastics are stickier and remain so even after lube has been applied. They are a good cost effective alternative especially if you plan on only using them short term. You could try dongs just a bit smaller than your BF or a couple of plugs getting you up to that point or an anal probe. Anal beads are also referred to as climax beads. When you get close to cumming you pull them out and intensifies the orgasm but wouldnt help for what you need. There are many ways to get to the same result.
