Hey all,

My wife is not keen on anal, the idea full stop. I have never tried, but I am curious.

Have any ladies on here, or men, had a similar scenario, not wanting it at all but then loving it?

Any ideas on how to convince her...without forcing it of course!!!

You first. My sexual philosophy is that you shouldn't do anything to someone if you aren't willing to have it done to yourself. If she's open to it, perhaps letting her penetrate you with a toy would help her be more open to the idea.

You pretty much can't get, make, or convince her to do something she doesn't want to do. I'd suggest checking through the Blank Manual Sticky at the top of the page because there is some good info on anal there. Perhaps you could print out some of the threads and show them to her. Just don't be pushy and respect her wishes.

FWIW, anal is something that I never considered for me until I met my husband. It wasn't on my "will not do" list--I just never thought about it at all.

It's been my experience that first time anal sucks for almost everybody, even if later they end up liking it. My suggestion would be to try to perk her interest in 'back there' by playing with her back there while eating her out.

Is it possible that she had an unpleasant prior experience with anal. All that you can do is be open and honest with your interest in anal. Has she ever played with your prostrate? If she hasn't, turn about is fair play. If you do manage to find a common interest in anal let her be the one who controls the progress of penetration. Start out very slow and you cannot use too much lube! Also let her know if things get messy that its not going to gross you out. Some people will use enemas prior to anal, that seems like over kill to me. Its an ass hole, its not supposed to be perfectly clean. Perhaps ask her, what her most intimate sexual fantasy would be! Let anal be her idea, don't ever try and force the issue. You want to do it more than once, so take you time you have a life time to spend together.
