anal sex and bleeding

So today I was with my love and we did anal sex. This is not the first time for us and hopefully not the last. Today was different. Ive noticed a little blood after going to the bathroom. Just a spot. Nothing I havent seen before. Its been 9hrs since we was together, i just came from the bathroom and when I wiped, LOTS of blood! It looks as if I was having a heavy period. We used lube. MOST of the time we use it. Today was one. Ive never bled this much from anal. I wasbleeding so much there was drops of blood in the bottom of the commode.
Has anyone ever had this kind of bleeding and has anyone ever had to go to the dr for it?
Im talking to my love at the moment and we have agreed to let this heal.
I may need to add ive also gone to the bathroom(#2) several times today. Ive had a sick stomach.(after the sex) Im hoping this may had added to my bleeding.

It's time to go to the dr. It could be a bacterial infection along with some tearing. - I have never had this happen to me, but if it makes you nervous it's not something to "wait and see" about.

I'm not a doctor, but have been told, bright red is most likely tear or hemorrhoid, or just inside anus. The deeper reds are higher up the tract

You might have had a very superficial hemorrhoid that broke open during sex. If you've been going in the meantime, that can slow down healing because of irritation. If the apparent bleeding isn't stopped by tomorrow morning, then you might want to check in with your doctor.

Watch your body temperature in the meantime. If you start to have a fever, call your doctor sooner.

It's most likely you tore a hemorrhoid. Try gently using Preparation H (or a generic equivalent) for 7-10 days like you are treating hemorrhoids.

Along with that, you may need to take a stool softener while you are treating the injury and employ some other measures that are recommended for hemorrhoid treatment (e.g. washing with warm water instead of wiping, not straining or spending a lot of time sitting on the toilet or squatting - basically, you want to baby the area/injury and avoid anything that puts internal or external pressure on it).

If you're willing to take those type of measures and your condition improves, you should be fine within days to weeks.

If you continue bleeding, the amount of blood or pain increases and/or you have other symptoms that are troubling to you, definitely see your doctor right away because it COULD be a larger tear and/or something else that requires assistance.

If it's your stomach, it's probably not related to the anal sex, although I suppose it could be loosely related. If it's intestinal, it's likely from the semen. When you're all healed and get around to anal sex with tons of extra lube, have him wear a condom. I've had this problem in the past, but fortunately having my partner wear a condom fixed ir. Maybe some people just have more sensitive bowels than others, and our bodies work hard to get the foreign substance out as quickly as possible.

Hi, in the past year I have suffered from the same sort of problem and have sought a solution from a medical professional.

In my case my doctor diagnosed me with an anal fissure and proscribed me a cream with a nitro glycerin base to help the healing process. The proscribed cream caused intense headaches for me (a recognized side effect) which ended up with me using some other topical application. Alongside this my doctor recommend I took a soluble fiber to help bowel regularity.

Im ok now. The bleeding stop after I had made this post. I do believe we tore a hemmroid. We have decided to back off the anal for a while till Im completely healed. I am going to use some Prep. H to help incase its still there. We have talked about this and this is the only thing we can figure out what happened. We wasnt anywhere near as rough as we normally are.
As far as my stomach goes, I didnt have loose bowels but I have had trouble with constipation a few days before. My stomach has felt sick all weekend and tonight was the first time in several days I felt ok.
We do tend to have anal alot and he is the first man ive done it with this often in my lifetime. Im begining to think My bottom is just not use to it and with me having stomach problems this has happened. I told him next time we are to use more lube than normal. I do not want to go to the doctor for this if I dont have too. But if the bleeding had not stop I would had. Im just so thankful I have a understanding man in my life and it also scared him when I told him I was bleeding. I have spotted before but nothing like this before.
