Well no prostate here either but I would say lube, speed, and practice are the keys to enjoying anal sex or masturbation. The first couple of times I had anal sex I found it to be slightly painful and then the following day I would be sore but as I did it more often both of those issues passed. You might also try using a plug from time to time to allow you anus to stretch and then holding it at a certain level.
