2002 was a year of many changes on the BB as well as for many of us posting.
We have laughed together, shared hardships and rejoiced in triumphs, big and small.
We have seen the forums evolve from small communities of a few members to hundreds of members sharing their day to day stuff, their views on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and their sexuality. Always the sex!
It strikes me as a bizarre, heady thing when I think back and realize that most of us came here for sex stories and found something so much more.
I am not negating the difficulties the forums have seen, the growing pains that have been encountered and the problems that have been resolved. Nor, am I denying that there will be more of the same. It is part of the maturational process and for lit, a process that has no fore fathers to guide her along.
So, I want to thank Laurel and Manu for all of their effort and dedication to the site, their commitment to providing a site that is defined by it's members, not by a corporate vision statement and for just being plain cool.
To everyone else, whether I know you personally or not, you all play a part in the momentum and color of lit. We are an eclectic group and as such will find what we need, take it, savor it and leave what we don't like. The more people, the more insights, the more views, the grander the buffet for the mind.
So, Happy New Year, everyone and may 2003 bring only good things to each and every one of you.
