I apologize for upsetting you. You obviously did not want anyone who disagreed with you to respond to your thread. While that is not standard behavior, I should have respected that. I did not post intending to start any kind of "flame war" much less to upset you as much as I obviously did. When it became obvious discussion was not possible, I should have simply walked away. It won't happen again.

Listen. Okay. One more Time. I don't even care for the apology. You didn't have to make it, but something tells me you don't mean it anyway. I just wanted a thread where people can bitch about corporations that fucked them over. And you know what? It's my own fault. I mistaked someone who sincerely just wanted to disagree, and I got shit for it.

And now the sentiment of the thread it ruined, I've thoroughly made myself hated, and I will promptly leave your land of literotica. I don't want more popular, or most liked, or to be part of any cliques, as people obviously are.

I was insulted about my opinions, I made a thread to express them. And now it's going to be a cycle of bashing and flaming and there is basically nothing to be done about it. All because of my mistake. And that's great. It doesn't even matter.

How can I believe that? And if a person read my whole post, you'd see I wasn't completely saying it wasn't an apology, I just can't tell a person's tone over the internet.

Sweetie, I'm an oldtimer here with plenty of my own battlescars. I have nothing against you personally and i welcome you here, but I don't appreciate anyone slamming one of the most genuine people here at Lit.

I think your thread is a great idea and you should be outspoken, but there are unwritten rules here of genial etiquette.

672 -welcome to the world of arguing. It happens a fair bit when you get so many intelligent, artistic minds in the same place.

We all disagree on things, and often it happens loudly and can get a bit nasty, generally because we deal with things close to peoples hearts.

However, generally we blow up, type off a lot of angry messages then cool down apologise, laugh and get on with being friends, that is what friends do -agree to disagree.

Anyhow, I know Min -she's a sweet, sincere kinda gal and I know she means this apology, so take it gracefully, smile and carry on and we'll all be quite hapy for that to happen.

If you however feel this isn't the place for you and you're not just reacting in deep emotion, then maybe you should go, as there's no point staying some place that gives you heart ache. It's up to you.

Anyhow, I've not even seen the threads involved, I'm just the lady who likes peace, who wants folks to get along.

When you start throwing tantrums on the boards, refusing to accept genuine apologies and putting your posts in screaming capital letters, being called a child is inevitable.

Still, we're a forgiving lot. If the dust is allowed to settle, the chances are that people will give second chances. But if you keep kicking it up... it's really not going to help the situation.

I think you missed the part where I accepted her apology, didn't scream in caps at her, and the child-calling was because he was much older than I was.

I don't give a shit what you think, and honestly, you're doing no good but making me angry again, and proving this will be a bash fest. No one here knows who I am, just by judging how I responded to one single dispute, and anyone who does is pretty sad.
