When a woman sheds her clothes here, she gets 5000 to 10,000 replies.

Conclusion: you women aren't doing your part to encourage more male nudity here!

Just what I've observed looking at amateur pic threads, male & female.

Hell, somebody should respond-problem is, I don't have an answer for you except maybe there are more male members of Lit than female. Plus I know from my own lady she always finds the female form attractive. Not talking about here, but magazines that are geared toward men and I've read interviews with women that seem to feel the same way. Who knows?

WHen I had my thread, I showed my cock, but I showed EVERYTHING else too, and did poses, strip teases, shower pics, you name it, and my thread still vanished off the map if I didn't post pics every single day.

Nothing is wrong with normal...but when you're like me, and have a bit of a belly and a few extra pounds, and you got guys on here with 6 pack abs and everything....makes the rest of us seem a bit...well, inadequate lol

i think there are more men here too though.

Don't be discouraged. I had a lot of fun with my thread, and after a few weeks. I had a nice group of loyal fans that kept coming back, but you have to find your female friends on here and tell them about your thread and give them your link. That and put the link in your sig line so people can find it from other threads.

If things in my personal life ever settle down, I'll probably start a thread again. You just have to know you're not gonna have 100 posts the first day so you're not dicouraged.

There are many variables- including the number of males to females, and the comfort that each has with posting and asking for more.

Lack of response lead me (partially) to not maintaing my thread anymore. I still like to look around though.

Okay, so I can't just sit back and observe any more

I noticed something about this myself. As the MALE half of SuperFunCouple, I am all but un-noticed. True, we have posted MANY more pictures of The Princess than myself, but in the "couples" shots, and in the few of just myself we get next to no response to any --ahem-- part of me, and I'm doing okay for myself down there.

By the same token, both of us expected as much, and here's our reasoning. Men were built, designed, for utility... we're strong, beefy and not much to look at. Women are built for beauty (now before anyone gets offended, I'm speaking in generalizations, there are always exceptions to both rules - and no, women's ONLY purpose is not to be beautiful, it's just a nice perk that comes with the job). Women have nicer lines, nicer shapes. Men are square and rough, women soft and curvy. There's no mystery in why women get more attention, they're simply more beautiful than men.

So that's my humble opinion

that was a fear i had when i first tossed about the idea of risking putting up pictures: what if no one bothers to look? what if no one says anything? (and, in the back of my mind, what if they tell me to cut this shit out?).
i've noticed how men don't get the same number of views & replies as women since i first came around. i don't know about it being fair or not, does it even matter? i take the pictures and post them more for me than for anyone else to appreciate; getting any kind words at all is just sort of the icing on the cake i guess. it makes me feel all hot and blushy and turned-on, but i think it is a secondary attraction to posting pictures.
did i make any sense? i have no idea if i even got out what i was trying to say....
