An interesting tale.

I sat down to write a story last night, and after just ten minutes I had a major hard-on. Now this isn't me bragging, or trying to be a pervert, it just doesn't happen very often. I wondered if it was because of the material I had chosen to write, for it's something I'm not known for.

You see it was an incest tale, one that made me more excited than any I have written before. The title is My Son, My Lover, My God! and before anyone says it, I wrote it as the mother. I would like anyone who reads it to tell me if it had the same effect on you, or whether it's just because it's new to me.

Well, although I didn't get a reply, I see from the days records that 132 people have read it, most of which marked it with a five. So, I would assume from this, that it wasn't just because it's new to me, but is actually erotic.

Or are you all being very generous with your markings, and keeping quiet about how you really feel. haha

Pastorale did a similar thing to me when I wrote it, I had to, ah, let's just say the seam in my jeans made me reaaaaaally happy about three times. I generally don't get that reaction when I'm writing, but based on the mail I've gotten, it's an improvement. The one I'm writing now is kind of doing it to me, but I keep getting interrupted.

That's great that you can arouse yourself with your own imagination... I can't say the same, but my creative expertise is somewhat limited due to too much atrophying in the right hemisphere of my brain because of silly school work that's all categorization. I thought it was a pretty good story. I'm usually not a big fan of mother-son incest stories, but this was well-developed, well-paced, well-written. Well well well.

I was interested in what Laurel posted, that if 132 people voted on the story, around 15000 read it. Is there a way to find out how many people actually read a story, or how many people clicked on the link for it? On the boards there are tallies for replies as well as views, and I would be very, very interested to know how many people have actually read my stuff. Laurel, if you're out there, any info?
